This tool uses the density and viscosity values of the compounds to be blended as inputs into the models. The density model shows a volume average blend density and an API shrinkage compensated value. The viscosity models consist of well known Shu, Chevron and Refutas methods for comparison.

Wayne Monnery Profile Picture

DR. WAYNE MONNERY

Wayne Monnery is the lead Professor with SIGIT ACADEMY and has over 30 years industry experience. Dedicating his career to gas process engineering, he holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.

Wayne has delivered presentations to the Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) and his work has been published in numerous academic and industrial journals. Wayne continues to educate students at the University of Calgary, in industry, as well as other recognized institutions. He is currently the President of CHEM-PET Process Technology and has consulted for many leading EPCM companies.

Wayne has described specialties as “sweetening and sulphur recovery.” He is a recognized expert in simulation and fluid properties and is at the forefront of various geothermal, lithium and carbon capture projects.
